Every year in September Jim Frew, a member of the Dolphin Club in San Francisco, takes a big dip into San Francisco Bay as part of a competition with his club’s fierce rival, the South End Rowing Club. Wearing nothing but a swim cap and sexy goggles (not pictured) Jim does the crawl for the 1.3 mile-stretch from the famous prison island Alcatraz back to the city. He then emerges about one hour later somewhere near the famed Aquatic Park (with his poor penis probably all shriveled up from the 57° F cold water). FUN FACT: The Alcatraz prison’s inmate #1 in 1933 was Frank Lucas Bolt. He was incarcerated for sodomy with another male.
