Club Butt Valentine’s Day Freakout

Next Tuesday, 14 February it's your chance to fall in love with a stranger at Club Butt Valentine's Day at legendary go-go bar Escuelita in New York City. BUTT's thrilled to present the New York debut of homo rap duo Freaky Boiz. John Holland (of Salem fame in BUTT 25) and NYC's own Physical Therapy are also popping by for a little deejay action.

Tired of changing the words around in hit songs to make them relevant to their own lives, the Freaky Boiz took to Youtube and uploaded some videos featuring themselves rapping in bed, often shirtless. Like 2 Live Crew before them, Terrance ‘TT Got It’ Wilson and Pierre ‘P-Weezy’ Phipps (both 22-years-old) deliver blatant sexual rhymes with unapologetic bravado, but then end up describing some pretty explicit homosexual acts.

When interviewed on WGCI’s Morning Riot (Chicago’s version of Hot 97), they were asked if there’s room for homos in hip hop. P-Weezy explained, ‘I believe there is not room, so we are going to make room for it…’ They then proceeded to take stabs at who in the hip hop milieu might still hide in the closet.

Check them out next Tuesday, 14 February at Escuelita (301 West 39th Street, NYC). The bash is hosted by fun loving Telfar Clemens (as interviewed in BUTT 29), and drag sensation Linda Simpson. Doors open at 10 PM with open vodka bar from 10 PM – 11 PM. There’s a $10 cover.
