Calling all Anglophile sex tourists, future victims of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Summer Olympic jocks in training, etc. The wait is over. BUTT presents Owen Myers’ London Fag Map in its recently updated incarnation. Owen, a Gemini whose boyish good looks are matched only by his ironic sense of humor, is a freelance journalist from London and a BUTT contributor since 2009 (and one of the first 10 Buttheads). A quick survey of his haunts reveals his heightened interest in all things homo-cultural.

Owen loves music and has a nose for sniffing out new talent. He brought handsome drummer Patrick to our attention, and hooked us up with Welsh pop singer, Rod for the third installment of BUTT’s mixtape collection. Then there’s the dancing… One might find Owen (in the audience mostly) at BJ’s White Swan for their amateur strip night, at a local gathering of Wickerman-esque country dancers, or just putting the moves on some beardy fellow at the Joiners.

Of course, Owen has a very thorough knowledge of gay-interest printed matter. Whether it be an obscure art book, some lesbian pulp paperback, or the latest BUTT-inspired zine, there’s always something of interest on Owen’s bookshelf or coffee table.

Only when every inch of his cultural agenda has been sussed out, does Owen allow himself a breather. For a bit of respite, he likes nothing more than a curing daytrip to arcadian Hampstead with ponds for swimmers and naturists, and plenty of cruising options via bush and cottage. In a pinch, he’ll settle for a dip in the pool at the Shoreditch Chariots, but you’ll have to ask Owen about that yourself.
