Dark Side of the Wig

It’s not even Halloween yet and those East Coast bitches are already breaking out the fancy dress. Now in her third year, and expanded to two full days and nights, Bushwig is back and even more of a freaky mess than she was last year. BUTT counted over one hundred queens on stage — that’s a lot of concealer, hairspray and running mascara, Miss Thing.

Best of all, Bushwig’s drag meltdown is soundtracked by some of the most sonically adventurous music makers around, including BUTT favs Bottoms, Night Feelings, Soft Pink Truth and Tami Tamaki to name just a few. You’d have to be a damn fool to miss out.

Bushwig kicks off from this Saturday, 6 September 2014 at 1 P.M. and continues through Sunday at Secret Project Robot (where the service is friendly and the beer is always cold) at 389 Melrose Street in Bushwick between Knickerbocker and Flushing/Irving. For even more info you are being directed to all things Bushwig.
