Tapas with Andy Bell

This BUTT reporter immediately went into gushing fanzine-slash-stalker mode when I spotted one of my teen idols, Andy Bell of Erasure, at the Plaça de la Constitució in sunny Sóller, Mallorca this week.

The elusive Andy seemed to be enjoying his lunch with a handsome companion, taking a well-deserved break no doubt after headlining the Poptronik Festival Sitges where he apparently set the stage on fire with another one of his flamboyant performances.

Next stop for A-Bell? Atlanta Pride, of course, where he’ll share the stage with lesbian singer-songwriter Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls. A-Bell plus A-Ray equals lesbi-gay power duo in the making!
