Tranny-lympics

The 2012 Olympics are only halfway through and we’re already totally bored. Now would be the perfect time for the Tranny Olympics, actually, back with a bang for its fifth year in London.

Founded by Polly Sexual and Babes Trust back in 2008 to draw attention to a gender testing controversy, this tranny-lympic clubnight is all about audience participation. Why not dress up and join in any number of competitions, from the more traditional hundred meter sprint, to more trans-friendly games such as lip-syncing and throwing shade? They’ve even devised a mind-blowing opening ceremony for this year’s festivities. Ohmygod!

The Tranny Olympics happens this Saturday, 4 August from 9 PM to 2 AM at the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club. Entry is free for trannies, cross dressers and all other forms of transvestite or transexual you can dream up, but you must be through the door by midnight.
