Helmet Head

This fetishistic footballer drawing comes courtesy of Paul in Berlin. He made it while at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, which is, according to Paul, a liberal pocket in the not-so-liberal country of Austria. There he spent the last few years under the guidance of nurturing mentor Matthias Herrmann. Paul aspires to make art which is just as queer. This particular drawing is from a series of drawings he made of some of his studio mates who posed in jockstraps, sport socks, and other athletic kit.
