Chris Bogia makes sculptures resembling alternative universe versions of images you find in interior design magazines. He creates tapestries out of yarn, sometimes with intricate floral patterns, other times he makes large versions of popular albums like Patti Smith’s Horses or Nico’s Chelsea Girl. He then arranges cabinets, chairs, tables, and plants to finish it off.

Next, Chris gets naked with friends and poses in front of the sculptures and photographs his work. The photos themselves are then exhibited alongside, or separate from his original sculptures. Above and below are three of our favorites. And yes that’s Chris with the poppers under his nose, getting pissed on, and upside down. Lucky guy!
