30-year-old BUTT fan Mikey, originally from Idaho, works on ‘ice contracts’ in the Antarctic and Greenland. For five seasons now, he’s been busy with everything from outdoor expedition outfitting to fuelling plans and carpentry — really manly work, basically. Gay life in both places can be rather scant and Mikey is often in the position of being the only gay in the village, although he never thinks twice about being himself and, as he puts it, ‘letting the glitter fly’.
