Could New Orleans be the new Berlin? Okay, probably not… But reports as far as San Francisco and Boston can confirm that its lazy ways and very reasonable cost of living are driving more and more couch-surfing, pleasure-seeking homos to the Southern city in Louisiana.

Originally from the Mission in San Francisco, photographer Xavier had visited NOLA a couple times when he was still freezing his ass off Chicago. He was drawn to the port city’s ‘lawlessness’ and sultry summers. Eventually, he got a day job there working the front desk of a local hotel, rented a room in a shotgun house and, most importantly, found a friendly circle of cute guys to photograph.
