Now that spring is here it’s time to shed some of those comfortable winter pounds and get in shape for summer. Especially if your favorite meals are turkey meatballs and mashed potatoes with gravy, like those of Patrick Jenkins. The 26-year-old St. Louis, Missouri-native does an average daily exercise of 60 push-ups, which have the benefit of working a multitude of muscle groups at once, including the pectoralis major, pectoralis minor, triceps, deltoids, and abdominals. Patrick usually does this in the privacy of his home, but he recently made an exception for photographer Paul Mpagi Sepuya, who photographed Patrick during a sweaty jock-strap-clad work out session at Paul’s temporary studio at the Studio Museum in Harlem, New York.
