Ripped

This month’s BUTT Fashion post comes courtesy of vintage fashion junky and part-time rocker Cesar Padilla. On Friday, his collection of rare and DIY concert tees gets its own show at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles. Cesar was working the Sunset Strip from a very young age: going to the shows of his favorite punk bands, and scouring second-hand shops for whatever memorabilia he could find.

‘Ripped: Expressions from the Underground’ starts this Friday 9 November 2012 at FIDM which is at 919 South Grand Avenue, Suite 250 in Los Angeles, California. Admission is free. On Thursday, there will be an evening of performances and readings in in Grand Hope Park.
